A Fresh Start

 Some of you may already know me from my old blog Kat's Creations.  I started blogging in September 2008 prior to my 21st birthday.  I had just discovered the world of blogging and particularly of sewing blogs and decided to start my own to document the process of making a costume for my 21st birthday party which was Grease themed.  I just made a simple circle skirt but it was the first thing I had ever sewn and started a great obsession with sewing.

I was extremely inspired by the blogging community and eventually learnt how to knit and more recently have learnt how to crochet.  My blog gradually evolved and began to encompass all sorts of topics such as sewing, knitting, crochet, baking, fashion, photography and general aspects of my life.

As I have grown and my interests and personality have changed I started to feel like I had outgrown my old blog and so I decided to start a new one.  This also coincided with my decision to start my own vintage store on etsy.  I am still in the process of setting up my store but hope to have it ready to launch in a week or so.  Trust me, you will the be first people to know when it has opened!
