Last week I forgot to say a massive thank you to everyone who commented on my post about Roxy. The lovely blogging community I am a part of makes me extremely happy and it was so nice to read all your comments. It brought a little smile in a rough week. God I love our little blog world! So onto this week and what a few little bits of happiness...
1 - Happiness is receiving my business cards! They are so pretty and I can't wait to hand a few out. I even did my first quote this week for a party.
2 - Happiness is this little ladies face whenever you put food in front of her! This week we tried some carrots. She loved them!
3 - Happiness is being able to get advice over twitter from some lovely sewing bloggers on my Sew for Victory project. I love this little community I am a part of!
4 - Happiness is having these two back home. FYI my sister may be less than happy I put this pic on here but I couldn't resist.
5 - Happiness is making the most out of rainy days by having a full day playing games. We played articulate, game of life, the london game and scrabble. It was awesome! I usually struggle to get people to play board games with me. They just aren't as into them as I am!
6 - Happiness is having some time to relax and knit and dream of the country cottage I hope to own in the future.
7 - Happiness is this combination of colours! Doesn't it just scream happy. It is going to be Imogen's sewing dares dress. I have found a pattern and printed it so this is next on the list of things to sew. Behind my sew for victory projects and my sewing dares dress and my mad men dress. Better get cracking!!!
8 - Happiness is being able to fit into more of my vintage dresses again! Only 6 more dresses in the wardrobe that are slightly too small. Hopefully it won't be long till I am back into them too.
9 - Happiness is watching these two have a chat for the first time. Imogen and my cousin Hugh have met once before but this is the first time they have really interacted. It was super cute to watch!
So what has been happening in your world this week? I hope it has been a happy one for you all.

52 Weeks of Happy (2/52)
How are we all today? How has your week been? Last week was pretty good here considering it was the first week back from holidays. We are missing Corey now that he is back at work but it is nice to be in our own house again. Here are a few things that have made me smile this week.
Hanging out with my mum and doing a bit of crochet. My parents have the comfiest couch in the whole wide world and I love snuggling up in the corner with some crochet and chatting with my mum.
Starting my first cross stitch since I was in highschool. I started this then frogged it so I could make it bigger and now I am very nearly finished. I can't wait to share it soon.
The first catch up of the new year with my mothers group. We have developed a lovely group of girls that I met at antenatal class and the midwives clinic who meet up once a week in a local park to chat. It's so nice to be able to get out of the house and chat to some grown ups!
Freshly picked lettuce from my sister in law's garden. We just happened to pop in to visit while she was out gardening and were given this little lettuce to take home.
Pretty pastel dresses and yellow toenails are the perfect way to brighten up your day!
The day I managed to fit back into my pre pregnancy jeans was probably the best day I had all week. I was walking on a cloud for the rest of the day after trying these on.
This gorgeous view from the surf club where we were listening to my friend play a few tunes on Sunday afternoon. It was also pretty cool to be able to take Imogen to listen to my friend play for the first time. I think she was a fan!
I am so in love with our new dining set! We have been meaning to get one for ages because we have broken a few pieces of ours and others have chips in them. We were in Target on the weekend and saw this gorgeous set (the first set both Corey & I liked) and to make things even better it was on sale!
Spoiling my little monkey with new clothes is one of my favourite things. I really need to learn to control myself in kids clothes shops. The smallness of their clothes and the overwhelming cuteness make it had for me to control myself.
And it is a little bit sad how happy these last two pics make me but I love when everything is tidy and organised. Yesterday I did a big clean and tidy out of my cupboard and came up with an idea of how to use the empty formula tins I had been hoarding. I covered them in scrapbook paper and turned them upside down and now they hold my headbands.
So what has been making you happy this week? Again I am playing along with Little Birdie if you would like to join in.

52 Weeks of Happy
I just saw this 52 week project over on Coal Valley View and thought it would be a fun thing to join in with this year. A great way to take time to appreciate the little things in life. 52 weeks of Happy is being run by Little Birdie if you would like to join in. So every Tuesday (I'm a day late this week) I will be posting pics of a few things that made me happy that week.
1 - Imogen's first roll over from back to front. She couldn't quite figure out how to get her hand out from under her but she was happy to just lie there once she rolled over.
2 - My new necklace I picked up in Melbourne from Aminalee.
3 - My 365 journal from Kikki.K. I am really enjoying writing in this every day. It's nice to have a place to jot down some thoughts.
4 - Zucchini & garlic and mangoes are my favourite foods at the moment.
So what is making you happy this week?

Kat's 11 Random Facts:
1 - I have a wierd sense of smell. Most of the time I seem to be able to smell things that no one else can but then there are times when everyone around me can smell something and I can't smell it.
2 - My first job was at Bakers Delight.
3 - Winter is my favourite season. Which doesn't work very well when you live on the Gold Coast.
4 - When I buy something new I tend to wear it a thousand times within the first few weeks then don't wear it again for ages.
5 - I am dying to be able to buy a puppy dog but Corey and I are both out of the house for the majority of the day so it would be by itself. I want a British Bulldog.
6 - I've had asthma since I was born. Corey has it too so our kids are screwed.
7 - I like change! I get bored if things are the same for too long. That may be why I changed jobs so often when I was younger.
8 - I have worked at both KFC and Nando's.
9 - I am currently beating Corey in our footy tipping competition at work which is bringing me a great sense of satisfaction.
10 - I pick my footy tips based on the patterns that my selections make on the app on my iphone.
11 - I have had purple, brown, blonde, black and red hair. I like change!
Questions From Sammy:
- Favourite vege out activity? Lying on the lounge watching a good movie under a big cosy blanket with a cup of tea and some biscuits. It works best in winter.
- Fav food? There are so many!!! Macaroni & Cheese is an all time favourite.
- Place you would most like to visit? Canada.
- Person you would most like to meet? My nana. She passed away before I was born and I would have loved to have met her.
- Worst job? My first job out of uni was probably the worst job I have ever had. Not because of the work but because of the atmosphere there. It was such a negative atmosphere and I just dreaded going to work each day.
- Favourite group class? I used to go to the gym with my sister and we used to do Boxercise. It was always very entertaining! I think we spent more time laughing then working out though.
- Rich and lonely or poor and loved? Poor and loved.
- Secret Crush? Tom Hardy
- Scruncher or a folder ... (With loo paper) Scruncher!
- Measure of a good workout - Calories or Miles I prefer to see how many calories I have burnt.

My Place & Yours
I have been meaning to take part in my place and yours for so long now but I always forget to post something. This week the theme was on the wall and I knew I already had some pictures I could share for this theme.
This is the wall collage that I put together in the kitchen of our new house. There was a big blank wall and as soon as I saw it at our inspection I knew I wanted to do a collage there.
The letters I made myself with some scrapbooking paper, paint and paper mache letters from Spotlight. The clock and the Mr & Mrs Lane sign were both wedding presents. I bought the birds from Target and the hoop prints from Typo. The pot holders I was lucky enough to win in a giveaway that Casey did a little while ago. They were the perfect colours to add into our collage. Now hopefully I will get my act together and keep posting as a part of this meme cause it is lots of fun. If you want to join in head over here.

Childhood Memories
Misfits Vintage has posted a photo from her childhood this morning and invited us all to do the same. I went through the small amount of childhood photos I have on my laptop and chose this one.
This is me and my cousin Stuart sitting on my dad's old Triumph. I am not certain but I think this was at our house in Clark street which is the first house we lived in when we moved to the Gold Coast from Sydney. I could be wrong though! Mum can correct me in the comments if I am wrong.
So now it is your turn! Find a photo from your childhood and share it with the world. If you do leave me a comment so I can come and check it out.
