The Good:
- Finding out we are having a baby girl!!!!
- Getting started on a room for little Squishy.
- Hitting the halfway mark. 20 weeks. Woo hoo!
- Kids birthday parties. We had out nephew's 7th birthday this weekend and it was so much fun.
- Tiny little baby socks.
- Continuing back pain.
- Trying to think of a baby name. Luckily we have 20 more weeks to decide.
- Intense clients at work.
- Crappy internet connection making my skype date with my sister difficult.
The Bump:
Here it is! Firstly, ignore my dirty dress. I didn't realise it was covered it fluff until I looked at these pics tonight. Secondly, 20 weeks and inside that bump is our baby girl. A GIRL!!! I can't believe it. I was sure it was going to be a boy. I thought I would be that person that ended up with a house full of boys. Either way I would have been happy as long as they come out healthy. Corey is a little worried now that he found out it is a girl. He is so used to having boys around he thinks he is going to be too rough with her. I told him not to worry though. He will be the perfect dad! Now I can finally starting making some clothes for our little princess.
What awesome news!! Girls are so much fun!!

ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting that you know you're having a girl :) It must be good to know you're halfway through the pregnancy too! I hope you two can pick a name soon, that you both love :)

How exciting!!! A little girl.
ReplyDeleteDad's need to be a bit rough. That is how babies/children learn about risk taking and developing confidence. It is really important.
... as for doing damage she is more likely to damage dadda as she runs as fast as she can and jumps into bed.
Oh yay, I'd love to have an excuse to make cute little girl's outfits! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I read your updates every week and am sooo happy for you! It's such an adventure having a baby, my little monkey is now 15 months and I remember the anticipation of being pregnant with him. Enjoy it :-)
ReplyDeletea girl!! so exciting - congratulations!
ReplyDeleteand cory need not worry - i bet he'll be a natural and that little bub will have him wrapped around her finger i bet!
a girl - how exciting!
ReplyDeleteOhhh so exciting! I can't believe how fast time has flown. Half way already! Congratulations again, and congrats on the news it's a girl. She will be beautiful, i just know it! I agree that dads need to be a bit rough. You'll want her to develop into a strong independent woman and not be too precious, and that's partly dad's job :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best with the coming weeks, i can't wait to see how things develop. Thanks for posting!

Hooray! Either would be wonderful, but what you end up with is always just perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteA girl! Congratulations! I just know you're gonna make the cutest things for her. I can hardly wait to see them on here!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Yay! Can't wait to see what adorable stuff you make for your girl! And no need for Corey to worry about being too rough...we have a couple of nieces (ages 5 and 8) and a little girl of our own (1 year) and those girls can be PLENTY rough-and-tumble themselves. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, congrats! That bump is a proper knocked-up bump now. Girls are awesome! YAY! Sarah xxx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Your baby girl will be lucky to have you and Corey as parents. I'm sure you'll think of a great name for her. It sucks that you've had so much back pain.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! Girls are fun and just as rough as boys, my girls were much more rough than my boy even was/is.
