Nursery Tour

As promised I finally have some photos of Squishy's finished nursery to share with you all.  I am pretty much in love with this room.  I tend to go in there and just hang out randomly during the day.  The room was based on the fabrics I bought to make Squishy's quilt.  Once I had those everything else was tailored to match.  But that's enough chat, onto the photos....

Once we choose a name (we have narrowed it down to 2 choices) I would like to put her name along the wall above her cot.  I am debating whether to do plain white letters or paint them or cover them in scrapbook paper.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And because I always look at room tours and think "oh I want one of those" here is a bit of a breakdown of the items I made (and tutorials used) and the items I bought.

Quilt - made by me (using this tutorial)
Cot Sheets - made by me (using this tutorial)
Cot Skirt - made by me (no tutorial used)
Tissue Paper Pom Poms - made by me (various tutorials for these can be found online)
Cot & Change Table - Boori Urbane from Baby Bunting

  1. SO GORGEOUS! I love the colours - the quilt is lovely, I adore the gorgeous vintage toys and books and I want to make some of those fabulous enormous pom poms and the amazing chest of drawers for my own room! It's really lovely, Kat. Sarah xxx

    1. Thanks Marie! I wanted the colours to be girly but not all pink. Corey was scared of walking into a room covered in pink :-)

  5. It's lovely Kat! A very sweet room to welcome your little bundle of joy home to. The dresser is awesome, as is the quilt and the toys you made. Every bubba needs something handmade by their Mama I think. :)

    1. Thanks Melissa! I am in love with the new header too. I am working on updating my about me page to match. I felt like I needed a change. It seems a lot fresher and cleaner now.

  12. No post for so many days...
Did Squishy make her entrance into this world?
And has your own world gone all topsy-turvy?
I do hope you guys are all well! Very, very curious...
