Cupcakes & Birthdays

Monday was my cousin's 13th birthday and she had a joint birthday dinner with one of her friends so we all trooped around for dinner on Monday night.  Everyone brought something along for dinner and it was a lovely relaxed party.  I of course made cupcakes!

My darling friend Joe has lent me his slr for a couple of weeks so of course I could not resist taking it along and taking some photos.  It is a nikon D7000 and it is amazing to shoot with!  I am thinking when I get a new camera I will get a nikon.  Here are a couple of photos from the night.
