So another good month for me. Not as good as last month but definitely an improvement on my 1 and 2 book months I had. My Booky Wook is Russell Brand's autobiography. It is not as funny as I was expecting it to be but it was very interesting. It is all about how he become an actor and how he got over his drug addiction. Apparently his second book is very good so I am hoping to pick that up soon. Frostbite is the second book in the Vampire Academy series that my friend at work has been lending me. I really like these books. They are so easy to read so I take them to the gym to read while I am on the bikes. Catching Fire is the second book in the Hunger Games series. I didn't like this book as much as the first but I did still like it. The first book was so good I think it is a bit hard for the rest of the series to keep up to that standard. In saying that though I am really liking this series. Bloody Valentine I read in my lunch hour one day at work. It is a very quick read by James Patterson. I forgot my book one day and my friend at work had it on her e-reader that she lent to me. It was a very interesting story. It amazes me the depth of character and the tangle of plot lines that authors manage to fit into shorter stories. So another month of reading down. Not long now to finish my goal. I think I am sitting at 36 books so I need another 16 to finish the year. Wish me luck!

Read More - September
At the start of the year I gave myself a goal to "read more". To make this goal a little more trackable I decided I would try and read 52 books in the year. Each month I have been posting the books I have read so I can keep track of how I am going. My darling friend Maria has also been playing along with me and I must say she is totally smashing me on the book reading front. With that said, here are the books I read in September...

Good luck and thanks for sharing! I love my reading time just before I nod off to sleep x
ReplyDeleteI love to read, always have, but don't manage a book a week any more. I'm currently revisiting Pride and Prejudice. Good luck with reaching your goal, I'm sure you're gonna make it :o)
ReplyDeleteThat's impressive! It takes me forever to read a book these days, unfortunately it's the fastest way for me to fall asleep :)
